How to make Kefir?

We all know the health benefits of Kefir, a yogurt like drink that does wonders for your immunity system and well being.

All of us want to drink it, however it's not the cheapest drink around, therefore I will tell you a little secret how you can make unlimited quantities of Kefir in your own home. The only thing you are required to do is purchase Kefir only Once... like I did.

Purchase Kefir, Organic Whole Milk by 'Lifeway', a 32 Oz bottle, just like I did, although you can purchase Kefir from another Brand, just make sure that it's "Whole Milk" and not "Fat Free". They call it "Fat Free" for a reason, no nutrients...

Take 1 Liter of plain whole milk from a local store and boil it. Let it cool off for a bit, but not too much, the milk needs to be warm. Grab a spoon and pour 5 spoons of Kefir into the milk. Stirr it well for about 15 seconds.

The milks should be on a flat surface that doesn't move, cover the milk with a lid, and wrap around a towel to keep it warm. Do not move the milk from one to another location for full 6 hours.

After 6 hrs have passed take pot of Kefir (your milk has now turned into Kefir) and place it in the refrigerator. After it has chilled, you can drink your Kefir. You may repeat this process and make more Kefir from the one you already made.
